Three Prominent Managed IT Services & Thought Leaders Join GCI Advisory Board
OLDSMAR, Florida – May 2, 2019 – Global Convergence, Inc. (GCI), a global Managed IT Lifecycle services and solutions company, today announced that it has added three highly distinguished influencers from the Managed IT Services and Technology industry to its advisory board.
First, GCI would like to introduce and welcome new Board Member, Mr. Kevin Horner. Next, local to the Tampa Bay area (GCI’s US HQ location) and well-recognized for his Managed Services expertise, GCI welcomes Mr. John Koehler to its Advisory Board. John was the founder, President and CEO of Vital Networks. John was also the co-founder, President and CEO of TechForce Corporation, which filed for public offering with the SEC and began trading on the NASDAQ Stock Exchange in late 1995. At the time of its acquisition in 1999, it had revenues exceeding $90 million. John has also held executive positions at Syncordia, a wholly owned subsidiary of British Telecom (BT), Paradyne Corporation/AT&T Paradyne and IBM.
Finally, GCI would like to introduce and welcome new Board Member, Mr. Daniel Zelem, a respected healthcare technology executive with a proven track record of innovation, delivering exceptional results and transforming technology on a global scale. Dan served with Johnson & Johnson for more than five years, as Chief Technology Officer and as top executive of the global technology leadership team, where he was instrumental in leading many large-scale breakthrough technology initiatives, including delivering on one of the most ambitious and extensive technology digital transformation and migrations ever performed at a Fortune 25 corporation across US, EMEA, LATAM and APAC.
With deep expertise in operations management, architecture, infrastructure, cyber security, cloud, data and analytics, ERP, vendor and fiscal management, Mr. Zelem brings a unique and innovative perspective on infrastructure services, worldwide information security, enterprise architecture, and application development to the GCI Advisory Board.
“GCI is taking aggressive steps to become the global managed services provider of choice as evidenced by the appointment of these three highly respected, influential and customer-focused industry experts,” said Jim Bradshaw, Chairman and CEO at Global Convergence. “Our new board members embody the “vested model” approach, which GCI has always embraced before it was even main stream, because we’ve understood that collaborating with our customers as a trusted advisor is the best way to create innovative solutions to complex challenges.
