GCI’s certification was issued by NQA, a leading global, independently accredited certification body, providing assessments (audits) of organizations to various Management System Standards since 1988. ISO 9001 provides a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of processes that organizations utilize to satisfy customers.

“The entire team at GCI was diligent in working together to formulate and document repeatable methods that safeguard the execution of processes and identification of improvement opportunities,” said Al Samsel, VP Global Project Management Operations at Global Convergence. “The ISO 9001:2015 QMS helps facilitate customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, internal auditing, risk management and training among other critical business process disciplines,” he added.

“GCI’s attainment of ISO 9001:2015 accreditation is the centerpiece of the recent certifications (ISO 27001:2013 and SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II Attestation Reports) that we’ve announced for both our Oldsmar, FL location and our Cluj-Napoca location in Romania,” said Victor Berggren, CIO. “Congratulations to the entire GCI team, and especially to the QMS Steering committee, Thomas Cunningham, Alexandra Epure, and Adrian Betiu for excellence, leadership, focus and seamless execution of this project.”
